During the debate for Criminal Gangs (Prevention and Control) Bill, 2026, it was also revealed that anyone found guilty of recruiting a child into a gang is liable, upon conviction on indictment, to a prison sentence of between 10 and 25 years.
Attorney General Wilfred Abrahams says this is clearly outlined in the Bill.
