Attorney General Wilfred Abrahams has been clarifying why the gang definition threshold is set at three rather than five in the Criminal Gangs (Prevention and Control) Bill, 2026.
He provided the explanation during debate in the Senate yesterday.
The Attorney General also sought to explain why the word “associates” was included in the definition of a gang.
