A 27-year-old San Juan man was shot dead on Tuesday afternoon in Cunupia in what police believe was a dispute over a woman, marking the sixth killing in just 24 hours.
The deceased, Andrew Morales of Petit Bourg, was visiting a woman at her home along Marshall Trace around 2:30 p.m. when he was confronted by a man from Warrenville, Cunupia. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot Morales three times in the head before cycling away.
Morales was rushed to the Chaguanas District Health Facility, where he was pronounced dead while receiving treatment.
