(Kaieteur News) Patrick Kireem Sanmoogan, who was wanted by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU), was arrested on Thursday after turning himself in at CANU headquarters, accompanied by legal representation.
Kaieteur News reported on July 8 that CANU issued a wanted bulletin for Sanmoogan a day earlier in connection with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
CANU had appealed to the public for information on Sanmoogan’s whereabouts.
