The T&T Po­lice Ser­vice is be­ing ac­cused of tar­get­ing na­tion­al award re­cip­i­ent Ter­rance David, fol­low­ing an ear­ly morn­ing raid at his Sea Lots, Port-of-Spain home yes­ter­day.

David, 43, of Pro­duc­tion Av­enue, claimed of­fi­cers de­lib­er­ate­ly abused their au­thor­i­ty and dam­aged his prop­er­ty dur­ing the 30-minute search, which be­gan around 4.30 am.

David, along with an­oth­er Sea Lots res­i­dent, De­shawn Hamil­ton, was award­ed the Hum­ming­bird Medal Bronze dur­ing this year’s Re­pub­lic Day Na­tion­al Awards Cer­e­mo­ny for an act of gal­lantry.
