A worker's weekly salary was among several items stolen by bandits who stormed a grocery in Enterprise, Chaguanas, on Friday night.
Police said three workers were at the business place on Tobago Road, at around 7:55 pm, when three gunmen walked into the store and announced a robbery.
The bandits ordered the trio to lie down on the ground while they stole some $8,865 from the cash register, as well as a wallet containing the worker's salary of $1,400 and mobile phones, before walking out of the store and escaping.
