Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro has confirmed that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has recovered a second tranche of firearms and ammunition stolen from the San Fernando Municipal Police Station on Sunday.
He made the announcement during a news conference at the Police Headquarters in Port of Spain earlier today.
“The TTPS has, thus far, successfully recovered 38 firearms: 1 MPX submachine gun, one shotgun, one revolver and 35 pistols. Additionally, 929 rounds of ammunition have been retrieved comprising 900 9mm, ten rounds of .38 caliber and 10 shotgun cartridges,” he said.
