A late-night raid at the Maximum Security Prison in Arouca on Tuesday uncovered mobile devices, cannabis, cigarette packages, and handwritten notes believed to be linked to threats made against senior law enforcement officials.
The joint operation followed the circulation of a voice note on social media threatening the lives of top police and prison officials.
The raid took place between 7 pm and 11 pm and targeted several cells within the facility.
