An uncle of Point Fortin teenager Emmanuel Williams, who died at sea on Friday, said he tried to rescue his nephew but was himself overwhelmed in the water and narrowly survived.

“I don’t know what bring me back, but I come back. I lucky to be here, trying to save life,” said Randy Williams, the teenager’s uncle.

Williams, 18, of Gonzales Village, Guapo, lost his life while on a beach lime with friends at the Clifton Hill Beach Facility.
