Police used a taser to subdue a mentally ill man who was behaving violently and walking naked along the Eastern Main Road in Tunapuna early Wednesday morning.

The 45-year-old man is known by the alias “Giant,” is an outpatient of the St. Ann’s Hospital. He is described as being approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 400 pounds.

According to police, around 6:45 a.m. a report was made about a naked man causing a disturbance near the Pennywise Cosmetics branch on the Eastern Main Road, not far from the Tunapuna Police Station.
