A CONFIDENTIAL legal opinion sent to the Attorney General raised doubts over the decade-old extradition case against former FIFA vice president Jack Warner.
The document, written by a respected senior counsel, concludes that Warner’s extradition proceedings have been tainted by non-compliance with local extradition laws and misrepresentation.
The senior counsel noted that there were “cogent circumstances warranting concessions” in Warner’s constitutional proceedings.
