ENVIRONMENTAL Management Authority (EMA) CEO Dr Joth Singh says talks are under way to relocate the Beetham Landfill within two years, but the social implications associated with the closure will have to be addressed first.

Singh made the disclosure while giving the closing remarks at the British High Commissioner's residence in Maraval yesterday for the event 'Pathways to Net Zero for the Waste, Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use Sectors'.
