Caribbean Airlines will resume commercial passenger flights between Trinidad and Caracas, Venezuela, from October 31, restoring direct air links between the neighbouring countries.
The national airline is also expanding its Canadian connectivity, with a new weekly non-stop service between Tobago and Toronto beginning October 25.
Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Senator Eli Zakour made the announcements in a ministerial statement in the Senate on Friday, as he outlined a series of new routes, airlines and air services agreements which he said were strengthening Trinidad and Tobago's regional and international connectivity.
