Air Canada will resume flights between Toronto and Port of Spain starting May 3, marking the return of the service after its suspension in September 2022.
Canadian High Commissioner to T&T Michael Ryan Callan and Mexico-born Air Canada director of sales Luis Noriega were both optimistic and celebratory yesterday over the resumption of flights, which will operate on the Boeing 737 Max aircraft. The aircraft offers two cabins of service and seatback entertainment for every customer. It can seat 169 passengers.
Callan said it would be a “game-changer” for tourism, especially in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
