Dr Gabrielle Henry set for first official public appearance since Miss Universe fall

KINGSTON, JAMAICA — Dr Gabrielle Henry, Miss Universe Jamaica 2024, is set to make her first public appearance since her participation in the Miss Universe competition in 2025, where she was badly injured after an on-stage fall.
Miss Universe Jamaica made the announcement late Saturday, indicating that Henry will participate in the Miss Universe Jamaica 2026 Grand Coronation on Sunday, August 23, at the AC Hotel Kingston.
Henry spent much of her reign recovering from injuries she received while participating in the worldwide competition on November 19, 2025, in Thailand, including a fracture and intracranial haemorrhage.
