South Western Division police say an arrest is imminent in the case of a 74-year-old man suspected of chopping another man during a dispute two weeks ago in Rousillac.
On July 2, senior police sources confirmed to Newsday that the victim, 59-year-old Premnath Mahadeo, had been discharged from the hospital.
Police were told that around 5.30 pm on June 22, Mahadeo was liming at a house on National Mining Trace, Delhi Road, Rousillac, with the elderly suspect.
