The body of a Las Lomas man was found by police on Wednesday morning, 36 hours after he dialed 999 and told officers he was chopped in a cocoa field and needed help.
Adrian Peter Duff, 35, told officers he was unable to get out of the field as he was severely injured. He directed the officers to Esperanza Trace and gave them a number for one of his close friends.
Then the call ended.
