(Kaieteur News) – Junior Canadian explorer Tajiri Resources is gearing up to begin its inaugural drill programme at its Yono Gold Project in Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni), following the completion of a geophysical survey.
In a statement, the company said it has completed a three-dimensional induced polarisation (IP) survey on the property and has commenced soliciting bids from drilling contractors. “The forthcoming drill programme will represent the first direct test of priority targets developed through the Company’s systematic surface exploration and geophysical work. The combination of potentially economic gold-in trench results, including high-grade gold intervals, and refinement of subsurface targets provides a compelling basis for advancing to drill testing…,” Tajiri said.
The Yono property is located within an established gold district and consists of one mining permit covering 122 hectares (301 acres).
