A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in the Pleasantville neighbourhood on Saturday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Ken Wilkinson, of No. 188 Brassia Drive, Orchid Gardens. According to police reports, Wilkinson was found dead around 7:25 p.m. on the roadway near No. 171 Brassia Drive, just minutes after gunshots were heard in the area.

Wilkinson appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body. First responders from the Southern Division Task Force, who were on mobile patrol in the area, were the first to arrive on scene.
