A 45-year-old man, believed to be Damian Pierre of Pleasantville, was shot and killed in Blitz Village on Wednesday evening.
At around 8:40 pm, Pierre was in a market shed at the corner of Blitz Avenue and Pleasantville Terrace when an unknown male approached and opened fire. Pierre was shot in the neck and chest.
He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:20 pm.
