Three men have been arrested after allegedly attempting to trick a company out of more than $40,000 worth of sausages.
Around 8:30pm on August 27th, 2026, a company representative went to the Erin Police Station and reported that earlier that day, around 10 am, a person claiming to be a supermarket employee placed an order for 100 cases of Chicken Franks (400grams) valued at $24 000 and 61 cases of Chicken Franks (Jumbo) valued at $17,019, a total of $41,019.
Around noon, a flatbed transport truck arrived on the compound and the aforementioned items were loaded on the truck and the driver drove off.
