In a daring midday robbery, thieves made off with thousands of dollars of goods, including saltfish, from Wesco Foods.

Reports say the incident resulted in more than $2,000 in cases of foodstuff being stolen from one of the company’s vehicles at East Gates Mall.

Around 3 pm on December 16, an employee parked a company van in the car park and went into the mall.
