Police are investigating the theft of $11,000 in cash stolen from a pastor’s vehicle outside his Barrackpore home on Thursday evening.
The victim, 59-year-old Ramesh Sookhan, pastor of the International Pentecostal Assembly, told police he parked his vehicle at his home around 5:30 p.m. and left an envelope with the cash in the centre console.
About ten minutes later, he heard his alarm trip and on checking, discovered the money missing.
