The effects of a tropical wave which was affecting Barbados, including some overnight showers, are expected to give way to weather perfect “for being outside” today.
Senior meteorologist at the Barbados Meteorological Services, Semelka Jackman, told the Sunday Sun “conditions should definitely be good” as the Crop Over season heats up with the Banks Party Monarch at the National Botanical Gardens, Waterford, St Michael, one of several events on today.
“There is going to be some cloudiness, but shower activity is supposed to be limited,” she said of today’s weather.
