MEDICAL orderly Peter Garcia, who is being called a hero for rescuing a man who had climbed to the rooftop of a building on the compound of the San Fernando General Hospital last Wednesday, says he is grateful to God he was able to help save a life.

Video circulating on social media showed the dramatic moments of the rescue when Garcia, 55, intervened.

His actions have drawn praise from the public, with many calling him a hero for his selflessness, courage, and compassion.
