Stopping short of declaring that Trinidad and Tobago was withdrawing from Caricom, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday said this country wants no part of the regional country grouping’s “zone of peace fakery” and its alignment with the dictatorship of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
The Prime Minister also fired back at Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne.
The Express contacted the Prime Minister yesterday with several questions arising from a statement issued by Browne and his criticism of her assertion that Caricom was not a reliable partner.
