(Kaieteur News) – The Gas-to-Energy (GTE) contractor at Wales must face penalties if it fails to meet another deadline this year end, leader of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNC/R) has said.
The party leader at a weekly press conference on Friday told reporters that the contractor awarded the landmark US$759M project must face consequences, like every other firm that fails to meet contractual obligations.
He was at the time responding to a question from this newspaper on whether Lindsayca should face penalties if it is unable to deliver the project by the end of this year as promised.
