(Kaieteur News) â Lindsayca Guyana Inc, the firm with roots in Venezuela that was awarded a US$759 million contract to produce 300 megawatts of electricity from Wales recently marked its attendance at the âVenezuelan Energy Week: Houston Showcaseâ in Texas as the bill for the Wales development continues to climb.
Executives from Lindsayca were spotted at the Venezuela Energy Week event, held at the posh and luxurious Post Oak Hotel in Houston. The summit focused on âEmpowering Venezuelaâ the same regime that claims two thirds of this countryâs territory.
While Minister of Public Utilities and Aviation, Deodat Indar pleaded with Guyana to turn off their AC units, Lindsayca executives were seen cozying up to Venezuelan Minister of Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao and Johann Ălvarez, the chargĂ© dâaffaires dispatched by Delcy RodrĂguez.
