Attorney General John Jeremie disclosed yesterday that United States military strikes on drug boats are consistent with international law.
The AG was speaking at a news conference at the United National Congress (UNC) Chaguanas headquarters, where he addressed the Government’s upcoming legislative agenda.
During the question period, Jeremie was asked what determination he had made in his capacity as Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago as to whether the strikes were consistent with international law. It was noted that two Trinidadians were allegedly killed in one of these strikes.
