HARDWARE retailers are warning that the construction sector will feel the impact of a 15% increase in the price per sack of cement by Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL).

In a WhatsApp response to questions from the Express yesterday, chief executive officer and managing director of FT Farfan, Andrew Crooks, said that as a major supplier of industrial and construction equipment, the company viewed any increase in the cost of core building materials as a significant headwind.
