A drive home ended in horror for a 30-year-old Clarendon carpenter after the vehicle he was driving slammed into a tree and burst into flames, leaving him trapped inside the mangled wreckage.
The deceased has been identified as Shaquile Campbell of McGilchrist in Toll Gate, Clarendon.
Reports from the Lionel Town Police are that at about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Campbell was driving a black Toyota Corolla Fielder south towards Lionel Town when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle along the Dawkins Pen main road.
