Two women lost their lives in separate motor vehicle crashes on Thursday night, pushing Jamaica's road death toll to 166 since the start of the year.
The victims have been identified as 28-year-old Danique Thomas of Hibernia, Manchester, and Ann-Marie Robinson of Stony Hill, St Andrew.
According to police reports, Thomas died after she allegedly jumped from a moving 1997 Honda Civic along the PJ Patterson Highway near the Vineyard Toll Booth in St Catherine at about 8:20 p.m.
