One arrested, cannabis trees destroyed in Northern Division exercises

Police officers attached to the Northern Division destroyed 65 cannabis trees, seized cannabis and arrested one man during anti-crime exercises conducted in Maloney and St Joseph on Sunday.
According to a statement, officers attached to the Maloney Police Station carried out an intelligence-led exercise between 4 pm and 7 pm in the Maloney district.
Police said officers acted on information and went to a forested area behind Britten Boulevard, Maloney, where they discovered and destroyed 65 cannabis trees.
