(Kaieteur News) – The reconstruction of the Grove Police Station on the East Bank of Demerara will cost $188,493,650.
This is according to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), through which the project was awarded following a national bidding process. The contract was awarded to Shop Modern Guyana, which was among some 54 bidders that applied for the project.
The project is being executed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and was estimated to cost $215,212,463, according to the government’s engineer.
