Hours after business-owner Michael King was killed and his wife, Severina Francois was left injured in a fatal car crash along the Uriah Butler Highway, a second crash happened along the north-bound lane of the highway on Sunday evening.
Police say a 41-year-old man died of a heart attack yesterday night at around 8.15.p.m. as his vehicle impacted another in the vicinity of Caroni. The collision caused a second vehicle to veer off the roadway, though the driver of that vehicle sustained no injuries.
According to police, a silver Nissan Sylphy was at the time driving north along the roadway when it was hit by a Black Suzuki Grand Vitara driving in the same direction. Police said that the impact caused the Nissan to run off the roadway.
