(Kaieteur News) – The Streetbike Championship will be decided in one last round on November 1 at the South Dakota Circuit. With just 14 points between the top three riders, the Caribbean Clash of Champions promises a fierce contest.
Salim Azeez (#555) leads with a perfect 50 points after winning both races so far. Despite his lead, Salim says he won’t slow down or play it safe. He believes riding defensively would let down the fans and himself, so his only aim is to win again. Still recovering from an injury, Salim is focusing on fitness and smooth riding instead of changing his bike. But he faces a challenge at Turn 1, which he admits is his slowest and most frustrating part of the track. This gives the riders behind him a real chance to catch up.
Close behind are Elwin Chase (#104) and Fitzpatrick Augustus (#108), who are tied for second place with 36 points each.
