THE Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) has confirmed its readiness for today’s general election as it disclosed that over 13,000 elections officials will be at work.

“Our team has worked diligently to ensure that every eligible voter can exercise their right to vote safely and confidently as they participate in this vital democratic exercise,” stated Chief Election Officer Fern Narcis-Scope in a media release yesterday.

There were posts circulating on social media yesterday alleging that the election will not be fair and one alleged that prisoners who fall in the category of special electors were given inducements to vote.
