“I am confident that we are ready to do what we need to do for the nation at large, which is to administer the election,” Chief Election Officer Fern Narcis-Scope said last night.
She said the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) was “well prepared” and was “doing the work required by the law to have a successfully administered election come April 28”.
She said because the EBC was preparing in the context of an election year, anticipating that the election could come at any time, they started to do a number of things in advance.
