Cops hunt man accused of kidnapping, raping ex-girlfriend

A manhunt was underway yesterday for a Barrackpore man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend at knifepoint in San Juan on Saturday and raping her twice before returning her to the area.
The 32-year-old supermarket clerk was allegedly abducted around 9.49 am while walking along a road in El Socorro.
A caretaker in the area reportedly witnessed the 41-year-old suspect, of Lengua Village, Barrackpore, force the woman into a silver-grey Mitsubishi Lancer before speeding away.
