A six-week-old baby boy was found dead at his Beckles Street home, marking the second loss of an infant in the family from a similar medical condition.

Police said the mother discovered the infant Malachi Prince unresponsive around 6:30 a.m. and contacted the Penal Police Station.

Officers who responded confirmed the infant’s death and launched an investigation.
