EDUCATION Minister Dr Michael Dowlath has revealed a troubling rise in student indiscipline, particularly at the secondary school level.
The minister raised the issue during his contribution to the mid-year budget review debate at the Parliament sitting at the Red House, Port of Spain on Monday.
He noted that between 2022 and 2025, suspensions rose by nearly 87%, increasing from 5,167 in the 2022-2023 academic year to 9,676 in 2024-2025.
