Opposition vehicles parked at police station for 16 days

(Kaieteur News) – Opposition Leader Azruddin Mohamed has condemned the continued impoundment of two vehicles assigned to the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, describing the situation as an “outrageous irony” and an act of political victimisation.
According to Mohamed, the vehicles have been parked at the Leonora Police Station compound in Region Three since September 3, where they have remained exposed to the elements for more than two weeks.
Mohamed’s criticism comes against the backdrop of recent statements by Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Anil Nandlall, SC, on police procedures for minor traffic and ticketable offences.
