LGBTQ+ and human rights activist Jason Jones has been granted leave to appeal to the Privy Council in relation to this country’s Sexual Offences Act.
In a recent post to social media, Jones said he has three months to put together his appeal and “get things in place for a hearing at the Privy Council some time next year”.
Jones had, in the past, challenged the law in relation to the act of buggery between consenting same-sex couples.
