THE act of buggery even among consenting adults, whether it be between men and women or men alone, have once again been deemed illegal in Trinidad and Tobago by the Appeal Court.
It matters not if the act is carried out between married couples in the privacy of their own homes, it is still considered to be a criminal offence, which attracts a term of imprisonment of up to 25 years.
Also the act of serious indecency between males, even if consensual, have also once again been deemed illegal.
