resident of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the Preysal Secondary School, Kris Balkaransingh, says the group supports any reasonable action taken against the students who were involved in an incident on Friday, where a police officer was locked in a classroom for half an hour.
He said the PTA would not condone the disrespect of authority figures by its students.
Balkaransingh said while the school did not officially communicate the incident to the PTA, he has received several reports of Friday’s incident.
