“The men who killed my child, I want them to be caught and punished. I don’t pray for money or riches, but I want justice”.
These were the words of a grief-stricken Kala Harripersad, the mother of Penal labourer Brandon Harripersad, 34, who was shot dead on Monday night. The killers shot Brandon in his abdomen. His 54-year-old father Sheldon Harripersad was also shot during a home invasion at the family’s Batchiya Trace home.
As the perpetrators sped out of the yard, they drove over Brandon’s body while family members looked on.
