WITH FOUR bullets lodged in her back, Antonia Cain-Kafi held on tightly to her severely injured two-year-old son, Akini Kafi, and let him go only when she arrived at the Port of Spain General Hospital where she collapsed.
Horrified hospital staff members received the boy, examined his tiny body and then officially declared him dead.
