A fire completely destroyed a business dealing in new and used foreign car parts in Valsayn on Thursday evening.

Police said Aron Roopnarine, the owner of NFS Auto at Bamboo Boulevard, 2nd Street, Valsayn, had closed and secured the warehouse around 5p.m. He was at his home later that evening when residents alerted him that flames were consuming his business.

Roopnarine rushed to the scene and found the approximately 60-by-40-foot warehouse fully engulfed in fire. Firefighters from the San Juan Fire Station responded and successfully extinguished the blaze.
