KINGSTON, Jamaica — More than 45 of Jamaica’s leaders from politics, civil society and the private sector are now in rehearsals as they prepare for the fundraising production “Powerful Women and Men Perform for Charity”, set for Sunday, June 21, at 7:00 pm at the Jamaica College Auditorium.
Founded by Thyra Heaven, the annual showcase has raised more than $80 million over the years for Mustard Seed Communities, which provides care for over 500 abandoned children living with disabilities and HIV.
“The quality of talent is exceptional so I expect the event to be as inspiring as it will be entertaining. The line-up makes for a fitting return of the show and an excellent tribute to Father’s Day,” said Ewan Simpson, musical director for the show.
