The inaugural Elegance: The Ballroom Experience is attracting strong international support, with members of the Jamaican Diaspora travelling from across North America and Europe to attend the highly-anticipated event on July 19 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel Ballroom.

Promoter Isaiah Laing said the overwhelming overseas response has reaffirmed that the concept is resonating with patrons both at home and abroad.

“Seeing members of the diaspora coming in for this event gives me a soothing feeling because it tells me that when I flip the coin, it’s the same result. I always go overboard to give people what they want, and this type of event was long in coming. People will leave satisfied and wanting to know when the next one will be,” Laing told the Observer Online.
